2008 Birmingham UMC Day Camp
The theme for our 2008 Summer Day Camp at Birmingham UMC is “It’s All Good!” We’ll explore how God values each of us and calls us to care for one another and creation as we seek to follow Jesus’ example.
Campers will be placed in small groups led by trained counselors for their week at day camp. These small groups will plan their own activities that will include archery, crafts, group games, nature exploration, challenge course, and much more!
Older campers may try their hands at belayed tree climbing. Our daily schedule will include singing, worship and devotion time. The week will include a day trip to Camp Glisson in Dahlonega for exploration and water play, and a cook-out with s’mores!
Who is it for?
The Birmingham UMC Day Camp is for children who are in the 1st through 5th grades this school year (2007-2008). For more information about the Birmingham UMC Day Camp, call Nancy Spence on Mondays, Tuesdays or Fridays at (678) 942-1613.
