The adventure group will spend three days and three nights away from the Outpost on the rafting and kayaking adventure.  On the first day of the adventure campers will take a day hike to some of the most breathtaking waterfalls in the southeast.  They will camp in a group campsite next to the Nantahala River.  Campers will kayak on beautiful Lake Fontana where wildlife abounds.  River otters, bass and a variety of birds are just some of the wildlife that campers will be able to see.  The following day campers will raft down the Nantahala in a two-person adventure duck (inflatable kayaking).  The river trip is fully guided by experienced, professional guides.  When in camp, the campers will learn wilderness skills, participate in creek hikes, make candles, play field games, care for a garden, help with a service projects and take part in team initiatives.
