The Leader-In-Training program is now the Experiential Leadership Program (ELP). As the program has changed and grown in the past few years we've realized that it isn't merely about training leaders, but about giving leaders the chance to practice leadership in a ministry context.
Our leaders aren't just "in-Training", they are leading! It is the experiential learning component of our leadership training program that makes it the best place to learn, to grow and to develop skills while being a part of a life-changing ministry with children. So while the program will remain largely the same, the new name emphasizes two core elements:

You must apply and interview to be a part of ELP. This year's Interview Events are Dec 3rd (@ Lawrenceville UMC, 10-12 and 1-3) Jan 28th (@ Cascade UMC, 10-12 and 1-3) and a third event in February (date and location TBA). Applicants will participate in group and individual interviews in either a morning or afternoon session. To apply for ELP, check out the ELP Details page, then use this Online Application and check "Day Camp Counselor" when prompted. Be prepared to list references for us to learn more about you.
