- Crew Job Description (2012)
- Apply for Crew (2012)
The Crew program offers intense leadership development and unique preparation to be successful summer staff members. Camp Glisson will invest time and training in this team, certifying Crew members in a nationally recognized Life Guarding course and in basic challenge course facilitation. Crew members will also be trained in a variety of special skills, from setting up sound systems to managing the camp store. Crew members will have practical experience in leading a team, facilitating group processes, and participating in the “nuts and bolts” activities of a complex ministry and staff. Also, each Crew member will get to live in a cabin so that they can have an opportunity to build relationships with the campers as they learn from the counselors. Daily debriefing and feedback will allow members to hone skills and grow personally. All the while, the Crew will grow in their faith while living out the mission of Camp Glisson...growing disciples!
