We truly appreciate all that you did for our daughter. That you listened to her and let her talk through some of the things she is experiencing. Camp has been the one thing that she has looked forward to every year. God has spoken to her in that place.

Simple Ways to Support
Search On-line... Give to Glisson
![]() |
| Give by searching the web |
By downloading the GoodSearch toolbar to your desktop, each search is incredibly easy because the search box remains at the top of your screen.
Now instead of "googling", you can start "searching for Glisson."
Shop On-line... Give to Glisson
More than 700 of your favorite on-line retailers, including Amazon, eBay, Target, iTunes, Staples, Nordstrom and more, have partnered with GoodSearch's sister site, GoodShop.com, donating a percentage of your purchases to Camp Glisson at no additional cost to you!
Now you can make a donation to Glisson every time you shop on-line.
Simply start with GoodShop.com, click through to your favorite on-line retailer, and then shop as normal. Dowloading the GoodShop toolbar to your desktop makes this even easier. Click here to learn more
Volunteer Opportunities
Numerous volunteer opportunities exist at Glisson. Following are some of the needs we have currently:
- Landscaping projects
- Interior renovation projects
- Assisting Trout Unlimited with restoration of Cane Creek
- Building a sound booth in the Chapel
- Demolition projects
- Stonework
- Construction of pit toilets at the Meadow and Rustic campsites
- Cut, split and stack firewood
- Building a boardwalk from the Cagle Center to the Chapel
Work teams are provided with one night's lodging or a free lunch. To arrange for lodging, please contact Pam Swafford at the phone number listed above, or info(at)campglisson.org.
Recycle and Raise Funds
Don't throw away those empty printer cartridges or old cell phones! Recycle them and help Camp Glisson raise funds. Camp Glisson gets paid cash for every recyclable item returned through our recycling partners. The items which can be recycled include:
- Inkjet printer cartridges
- Cell phones
We can also provide you with a collection box for your church, place of business or neighborhood. The collection box doubles as a FedEx postage-paid shipping box. You can encourage your church members, neighbors, friends and co-workers to bring you their items. Ask your pastor if you can place a notice in your church bulletin or newsletter encouraging members to donate their items on behalf of Glisson.
By recycling these items through Camp Glisson, you are not only helping us raise much-needed funds, you are also having a positive impact on our environment by keeping them out of our landfills.
NOTE: Although we do have the capability of recycling the bulkier laserjet printer cartridges, many of these models are not recyclable and the shipping process for these items is more convoluted. If you have access to a large quantity of empty laserjets, contact us to help determine the feasibility of recycling.
