Opportunities to serve so many children and youth in the capacity that we do at Glisson are very rare, and I am always so grateful for the impact that Camp Glisson has had on my lifeI appreciate so very much they way that Glisson compelled me to act out my faith in my daily life

About Glisson
Since 1925, generations of children and youth have been invited by North Georgia United Methodist Churches to the forests surrounding Cane Creek Falls just north of Dahlonega. Over the years, this place -- long since known as Camp Glisson -- has become holy ground as thousands have experienced God's loving presence through the beauty and the people they encounter here at camp. Creek hikes, kayaking, campfires, games, worship, swimming, climbing and play all combine to provide opportunities for personal and spiritual growth. Many North Georgia clergy and those in full-time Christian service have heard God's call to ministry in this place. Even more have had their personal faith strengthened through the very real presence of God here.
We invite you to explore Camp Glisson online and to discover how we might serve you, your family and your church in outdoor ministry. If this is your first time visiting our site, or if you would just like to see a short synopsis of the Summer Camp programs we offer, follow this link: New to Glisson? Otherwise, we invite you to peruse the site by clicking the links to your left or the wooden signs above. If you cannot find the information you are looking for, feel free to Contact Us.
