Over-the-counter medications and first aid supplies will be provided for participants. DO NOT send over-the-counter medication in your campers bag.

Please do not request early, late or midweek departures. To ensure the best possible experience for campers, our small group format is reliant on keeping the “Living Group” intact all week. Shortened stays at camp disrupt not only the experience of the departing camper, but the experiences of all campers in his/her small group.
Sending Mail to your Camper
Mail is very important to your camper. Write soon, often and cheerfully. We will encourage your camper to write at least once. It is helpful if you send addressed, stamped envelopes with notepaper or postcards with your campers.
We discourage the sending of care packages. If you or other relatives send care packages, PLEASE DO NOT SEND FOOD TO YOUR CAMPER. Please do not send cash or other valuables.
We rely on the postal service to receive letters for your camper. For that reason, we cannot guarantee timely delivery of your mail, however we will do our best to see that your camper receives mail as it arrives on site.
Send postal mail to the following addresses as appropriate:
Camper's Name/Camper’s Cabin/Camper's Counselor
c/o Camp Glisson
690 Camp Glisson Road
Dahlonega GA 30533
E-mailing your Camper
You may send email to your camper through our online Parent Communicator service. The instructions on setting up your Parent Communicator email will be given to you during check-in on Sunday and will also be emailed to you on Sunday Evening. Your account cannot be set up until after your camper arrives at camp and is issued a cabin assignment.
- Your messages are printed out at 9:00am (any email sent after that time will be delivered the next day) and delivered with postal mail during rest time each day. Your camper will not have access to a computer and cannot respond to email, but printed messages will be delivered to your campers.
Outpost Permission Forms
The following permission forms have been provided for your review. Please do not mail permission forms to camp. Outpost parents/guardians will sign the appropriate form on-site during check-in at Camp Glisson.
