Glisson Summer Camp Programs
Village Camp is Glisson’s “traditional” summer camp program. We have a passionate staff of college-age students who are excited and ready to serve your youth. Village campers stay in cabins with their counselors and participate in a week-long camp experience. Whether it’s kayaking on Lake Hale, eating in the Dining Hall, or painting in the craft shack, your camper will be immersed in the love of God while having the best week of their summer.

Camp Glisson's Adventure Outpost prepares and equips young people who desire to have a wilderness experience and grow in their faith. This program is designed to develop Christian character while also developing adventure skills such as rock climbing, kayaking, mountain biking, backpacking and rafting. If you are ready to take your camp experience to the next level, this program is for you!

Sparrowwood is our residential program for children, youth and adults with mild to moderate developmental disabilities. Sparrowwood campers are divided into two age groups. The youth weeks are for children ages ten through nineteen, and the adult weeks are for ages twenty and up. We even have elderly campers who enjoy Sparrowwood, and it’s such a joy! Campers and their counselors stay in the Sparrowwood lodge, where we maintain a close ratio of two campers per counselor. Counselors are well-trained and equipped to personally serve your camper. They are well aware of the specific needs of each of their campers. Counselors spend the entire week with their two campers and they all become great friends.
