Village
Campers will live in either our beautiful, spacious cabins or in the Ivie Lodge. They get to camp out under the stars one night a week and learn how to cook with a campfire. During their five-night stay, campers will have the opportunity to learn, play, and participate in wonderful camp activities, such as archery, Alpine Tower, crafts, Glisson Action News, drama, and many others. All activities are led by trained Glisson staff. Your campers will be touched by the care, commitment, and love that they receive from our incredible staff.
Village camp is a place to encounter God in breathtaking ways. Through chapel services, worship, talks with their living groups, counselor-led devotions, conversations with the Theologian-In-Residence, and countless other times, campers are immersed in a Christ-centered environment. Their lives are often touched in ways that are unforgettable, and Chapel services become a favorite Glisson experience for many of our campers.
Village Camp is open to rising 3rd through rising 12th graders. We have different programming that corresponds to the likes and needs of each age group we serve. Your camper will always be participating in age-appropriate activities with other children in a similar grade level.
